OPI ist eine US-amerikanische Nagelmarke mit Hauptsitz in Calabasas, Kalifornien, und einem ungewöhnlichen Ursprung: Sie ging aus dem Dentalhandel Odontorium Products Inc. hervor, den George Schaeffer und Suzi Weiss-Fischmann Anfang der 1980er-Jahre auf professionelle Nagelprodukte umstellten. Ihren Ruf baute die Marke auf Nagellacken und einem großen Sortiment benannter Farbtöne auf, darunter der 1999 erschienene Ton „I'm Not Really a Waitress“. 2010 kaufte Coty OPI; seit einem Verkauf an die Investmentgesellschaft KKR im Jahr 2020 gehört das Unternehmen zur Wella Company.
